To reach Barang village community homestay, which is located 15 kilometers away from Lakeside, the main tourist area in Pokhara, you have multiple transportation options available.

Taxi: One of the easiest and most convenient ways is to take a taxi. We can arrange for one to pick you up from your hotel in Lakeside or any location in Pokhara. The drive to Ghattichhina will take approximately 1 hour, and once you reach there, one of our representatives will be waiting to take you to our homestay. It’s a short 15-minute uphill walk from there to reach our charming community homestay.

Jeep: Another option is to take a jeep directly from Pokhara to our village. The drive will take about 1 hour and 10 minutes, and you will reach our community homestay without any transfers. This is the best option if you are in a group. We can arrange a Jeep transportation for you. 

Bus: If you choose to take a local bus, the journey will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach Ghattichhina. The bus departs from Hallanchowk, Lakeside, and there is a bus available every hour from 7 am until 5 pm. Once you reach Ghattichhina, you will need to take a short 15-minute uphill walk to reach our community homestay.

It’s worth noting that the bus that departs at 3:30 PM goes directly to our village, making it the most convenient option for travelers. Regardless of which transportation method you choose, you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome at our community homestay in Barang village.
