Maya's Homestay

Welcome to Maya’s Homestay, where the love and warmth of our family will make you feel right at home. My name is Maya, which means “love” in the Nepali language, and I am the proud owner of this homestay. Together with my husband Mahadev, my daughter Susmita, and my son Sumit, we will make sure that your stay is comfortable and memorable.
My husband has extensive experience working abroad in places like Qatar and Malaysia, while Susmita is a talented high school student and dancer with a good grasp of the English language. We also have a small herd of goats and buffalo that we take care of on our property. Twice a week, we make butter from the milk of our buffalo, which you are welcome to try. As part of your stay, I would love to take you on a journey to the nearby jungle, where we gather grass for our goats and buffalo. This is a great opportunity to see the natural beauty of our area and get to know our way of life. Our traditional and colorful home features a kitchen situated outside and a guest room with two beds and a table for your convenience. The toilet and bathroom are located nearby, making it easy for you to freshen up. We look forward to hosting you and making your stay with us a truly special experience.

Shiva's Homestay

Welcome to Shiva’s Homestay, where you will experience the warmth of a traditional Nepali village and the hospitality of my family. My name is Shiva Parajuli, and I was born in 1999. I have a passion for trekking and have gained valuable experience working as both a porter and assistant guide with Friendly Trekkers Adventure.

With the support of Friendly Trekkers Adventure, I have started a homestay in my village, which is run by my father Eknath and my mother Devi.

We are a family of six, including my sisters and brother Basu, who is currently serving in the Armed Police Force of Nepal. On our property, we have a buffalo, an ox, and four small goats, which we take care of with the help of my parents. My mother works in the kitchen, while my father takes care of the buffalo, and both of them work in the fields during the day, growing seasonal crops. In the late afternoon, I often go fishing in the nearby river, and I would be happy to take you along if you are interested.

Our house is built with traditional mud and stone, and we have a separate room for guests with two comfortable beds, decorated with colorful bed sheets. The room also has a table for your convenience, and the toilet is located close by. The bathroom is located 50 meters away, and from the room and yard, you will have a beautiful view of the Annapurna Massif. We look forward to hosting you and making your stay with us a truly authentic and memorable experience.

Sagar and Salina Homestay

Welcome to Sarada’s Homestay, where you will experience the warmth of a traditional Nepali family and the hospitality of my husband and I. My name is Sarada and I am a dedicated kindergarten teacher. My husband has spent many years working abroad in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Malaysia, where he held various roles such as a security guard and in the construction industry.

We are a family of four, with one son named Sagar who is currently a college student and one daughter named Salina who is still in high school.

Recently, our son Sagar joined a trekking company called Friendly Trekkers Adventure, which is run by Kabi and his family. We also have the pleasure of living with my husband’s parents and my mother-in-law is an excellent cook. We raise goats, an ox, and a buffalo, and every morning, I am responsible for cutting grass for them before returning home around 9 am to prepare for my day as a kindergarten teacher. My school is located just a short 5-minute walk from our home and begins at 10 am. If you choose to stay with us, I would be more than happy to take you to my school where you can interact with the children and teach them English. They are very friendly and eager to learn, so your stay can also benefit them in improving their English language skills.

I have two rooms available for guests. One of the rooms has a private toilet and bathroom. Our home has a large room and ample space, making it suitable for families. We look forward to hosting you and making your stay with us a truly authentic and memorable experience.

Sajan and Saruna Homestay

Welcome to the inviting and picturesque Kalpana’s Homestay. My name is Kalpana and I am a dedicated mother of two wonderful children, Sajan and Saruna. My husband is a hard-working individual who worked abroad in Qatar and Malaysia for many years. He is trying to go to abroad because it will be a better income for the family.

My children attend a local school, and I start my day by preparing breakfast and getting them ready for school. Afterward, I spend my time working on my farm, growing seasonal crops such as rice, corn, wheat, millet, and potatoes. If you choose to stay with us, I would be delighted to take you on a tour of my farm and show you how we grow and cultivate our crops. Our farm is the source of our fresh and delicious food.

Our homestay is a colorful house, with one room specifically designated for guests. The room is equipped with two comfortable beds, and the toilet and bathroom are conveniently located nearby. From the room, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Annapurna range and the lush valley.
